Attached is a photo of my Catalina 38 SOLITUDE. We were en route to Santa Cruz from Monterey on our return to SF Bay after a Labor Day week cruise. We were on the outer edges of Monterey Bay in very deep waters watching humpback whales surface from time to time. They were feeding on the upwelling of nutrients.
