[C38] 1980 fuel tank and size restrictions to the listserve

I have set a size restriction to our list server and here is why:
spammers and hackers! It does not happen often, but we have folks sign
up for the listserve and then try to send spam and malicious
programming. I catch these because they largely try to immediately send
(I review and approve all first posts from new listserve members).
However, we have also had folks try to send HUGE files (I think the
largest was around 50 megabytes), which are beyond the limits of many of
our member's mail services.
I try to review these posts on a daily basis and don't recall any
posting has had to wait more than 2-3 days (sailing). Phil as always is
right that letting me know in advance helps a lot!
If you have photos, etc. that you would like posted to our website
(tech tips) I will be happy to do so!

Fuel tanks:
I have an old motorcycle which, due to my inattention, had a rusted out
fuel tank. I bought some tank epoxy on-line that was both easy to use
and amazingly effective. Google "fuel tank repair epoxy" and you will
get many hits for products. I used:
http://www.caswellplating.com/aids/epoxygas.htm
The only worry I might have is the size of our tanks, but I recall the
Caswell folks were happy to discuss application procedures. Caswell
also has a "putty" for larger problem, which might be something you
would want to do about a seam problem (I would call them about this first).
I am visiting my boat tomorrow and will take a photo (yes, my postings
are stopped for approval as well!). I would note that my raw water
engine intake is within the engine compartment, which also serves the
galley.
