[C38] Zwaadvis table pedestal, question about beneath floor clearance

Hi again,
Zwaardvis pedestal are the ones used by Catalina on these boats and also on
the later models. On ebay they are cheap, but not complete!
Please note that this pedestal on ebay is not including the table base. I
had to use an old seat pedestal and modify it.
If you buy this, you will have to be very carefull with the pedestal height.
Estancia has 14 3/4"to the top of the seat and 13 3/8" to the edge where the
table is suppossed to seat. This will differ from the other boats because
I installed a 3/8 teak sole over the fiberglass floor.
I had to modify mine because of this, but it was easy. I just grinded a
little bit and a couple inches of welding did the job.
I also made a hole on the floor because on the lower position, the tube
goes around 5" under the floor, and the distance between the floor and the
hull was around 5 1/2". The hardest part was to made this hole trough a
couple of wooden blocks, that are glassed between the hull and floor.
I'll take some photos on my next trip to the boat.
