[C38] Bilge Pump

Bilge pump should be on 24 hours, typically wired directly to house
battery bank.   We have a Blue Sea System Battery selector switch that
has 3 circuits for wiring for 24 hour protection.

We just discovered, this weekend, that our bilge pump does now go on if
our batteries are set to the house.  Is this typical?  We really don't
think it is but thought we had a bad bilge pump until we set the
selector to All and then it kicked right on.  It seems to me that the
bilge pump should be independent of any selection of batteries.  Any
input here?
