[C38] Head replacement

I'd sure like to put a Lavac head on Legacy but I'm just worried that it
would be a little unsightly. For those who don't know, these heads just use
a simple water pump like a gusher to suck water and sewage out of the head
and use a seal on the seat where the vacuum created sucks clean water into
the head. They are incredibly simple, easy to maintain and reliable. When
I look into installing one, it just seems to me that I'd end up with a lot
of plumbing and a pump on the wall.

Here's Lavac's web site: http://www.lavac.com/

Subject: [C38] Head replacement

Hi,

I have a 1983 based in SF Bay. About 6 years ago I replaced the original

with the same as the gaskets were leaking. Now the head is not pumping
water into it and I have to fill it with the shower head. This is a pretty
cheap unit and would not mind upgrading, even considering electric. What
has other peoples experience been with other heads that fit in the same
physical space?

Thanks in advance.
