I talked to Jill Washington at Alstate  800 573-0606 / 209 473-4403. I did not go with Alstate becasue they do not insure for Mexico. A friend of mine did and his policy went from 1100 to 300. I think Alstate will accept a two year old survey.

I went with Mariners insurance at a slightly higher premium but less than US Boat. Craig Chamberlain 800 992-4443  / 949-642-5174.

per year. I wouldn't even consider US Boat. Besides charging higher premiums 
they act like they are doing you a big favor.
