Kenneth I have a raymarine unit and am upgrading the screen to a C-80
raymarine and I have to buy a new radar since my old one dosent
interface. Now if you go with the E-80 you can have a screen in the
cockpit and down stairs that will read all the information. Or a digital
flat screen tv will also read the information. If you want to see pics
on how I have the display mounted in the cockpit just email me and I
will send them. I also have a st60 package and two tridatas on the bulk
heads.

I have a raymarine but think they are all good. I think the chart
plotter overlay is the most important thing. It lets you know if your
seeing another boat or a fixed object, our is mounted at the steering
station since someone is always there when we are o the move works
great. I repeater would be great if you solo sail as long as it had an
alarm to warn of approaching objects.
