[C38] Discount Parts source

Attention all Catalina 38 owners.

I am working on an agreement with a well known and respected marine diesel parts supplier to give our group discounts on engine parts.  Don't buy a fresh water pump or any other expensive parts for your engines until I get this done which should be as early as tonight.

For starters, this supplier can get Kubota pumps for us for less than half the list price of the same pump from Universal.  

If our negotiations work, we will also receive a special Catalina 38 group discount on any part, Universal, Kubota or any other from this supplier.

At the present time, this arrangement is for the Catalina 38 group only and is not confirmed yet.  If this discount arrangement can be worked out, our program will be considered a pilot program which could later be extended to other groups but nothing is concrete yet.

 This email is just a warning that if you are thinking about a new pump or any other ridiculously expensive engine part, wait until I get more information for you in the very near future.
