Glen,

If nothing else, drop your rudder and inspect for pitting.  Our rudder was
marginal, and with us doing the Transpac, we did not want to take a chance
on it.  There is a new elliptical design that we are told will make it more
responsive for downwind running.

If time allows, have a survey done to give you a checklist to work on.
