[C38] New head

While everyone is talking about heads, I have an idea I want to share with
the group.

We found that every time we used our shower, the toilet filled with shower
water which filled our holding tank when we emptied the bowl. The problem
was that shower water followed the bottom edge of the toilet seat by
cohesion like modern gutter guards on our homes. The seat I had was a very
nice looking wood seat which looked very nautical and really dressed up the
head but because of the flat bottom of the seat, this water cohesion was a
real problem that sent the shower water to our holding tank.

We solved the problem by buying a standard size plastic home toilet seat at
either Lowe's or Home Depot, i can't remember which. We found a toilet
seat which would allow us to reverse the direction of the hinges so the
larger seat would center over the china bowl.

Now, when we shower, every drop of water goes to the shower sump and not
into the toilet bowl. The larger toilet seat is a lot more comfortable
than the smaller nautical seat also.

I don't remember the brand of the plastic toilet seat we bought but I'm
sure there are several out there that you can reverse the direction of the
hinges to center the larger seat. The plastic seat looks like it came with
the boat because the offset of the now reversed hinges is exactly the right
distance to center the seat over the small nautical bowl.
