We have a full service shop that provides all rigging services. Here
how it works.
All customers pay:
Retail cost of materials: wire by the foot, terminal fittings (marine
eyes, forks, toggles, turnbuckles, pelican hooks for lifelines), etc.
A machine swaging fee of $10 for all necessary machine swaging of
terminal fittings.
If the customer brings in or ships their old standing rigging and we do
the work in the shop there's no additional labor charge.
If we have to go to the boat, $75/hour is charged for removing,
measuring, installing, tuning, etc.
If we charge labor we then make several free service calls to check
tuning during the following months.
We also encourage customers to be present for the entire process
(removing, swaging, installing, tuning, etc.) so they can be responsible
for effectively maintaining their own rigging in the future.
Hope this is helpful.
