Larry, I've had that Jabasco toilet for a good 5 years with out any
problems, except when some body forgets to close the shut off valve at the
pump and the bowl overflows. I personally would not add another electrical
device for convince, where a mechanical device works fine. What happens
when you run out of juice-use the bucket?

Cheers, Steve O

This weekend while doing a major cleaning on Hassle I noted a crack on the
toilet at the pump area. We have the typical hand pump toilet. My question
to the list is what have you found to be more effective, the hand pump
toilet or an electric toilet. Any advice, pros and cons would be
appreciated. BTW that toilet is only about 2 years old, its a Jabasco I
think.

  Best regards,
