[C38] cheapo self tailing winch modification

pvc tubing

held in place with a shock cord

 the cord is clamped tight with c clamps, aka hog rings

For years I looked longingly at self tailing winches (most recent find 
$1800 apiece on Ebay) and kept checking the Wincher web site for a new 
model large enough for a Lewmar 48.  One of our members says that the 
largest wincher can be made to fit our Lewmar 48s by heroic stretching 
using the spinny sheet winch. This modest invention is easier and 
cheaper, but it does look rather down market, I agree.
