Subject: [C38] Rigging- spreaders

All,
Those who have replaced their rigging, where did you get the aluminum
castings that form the spreader tips, the SS wire lays against. The tips
definitely need to be replaced, because of wear and corrosion. I've called
Catalina Direct and they were questionable with there answer. They said
this is the first request for such an item. Maybe the mast manufacturer
supplies the tip castings. I believe there were two mast suppliers- one
produced with a oval extrusion and one with a flat sided extrusion. My mast
is flat sided and if anybody knows the manufacturer's name, please let me
know.
Cheers, Steve O (Santa Susanna-304)
