Larry, just a thought:  If you drop the keel too you should be able to get up on top of some waves and surf like an ultralight.  LOL

Yea Les, we thought of that, engine is coming out for the Trans Pac, yup,
yup, yup.  I mean HEY, I don't have to go through the Golden Gate at all, in
fact my slip is just around the corner from the start line.  LOL

But I thought you were using that in the engine compartment?  You racers
should think about this,  That cast iron jenny costs about 300lbs with no
benefit to a sailing trip.  Of course making it through the golden gate or
over the bar on a bad wind day might take on a whole new brown colored
sensation ;-O
