Hi All
Larry called for the less than a minute call, ok it's more important
that he speak with David.
But I am happy with my minute.
Larry says all is well, food and water good and there just moving along.
I am sure he wants a cocktail and a big steak by now.
I hope he makes it to the party.

Hassle called at 1130 PDT and I spoke to Adrian.

 

*	Their current position is 36 13.4N 137 28.4. Please see the map
below.
*	They have been motoring and making 6-7 knots for the past 21
hours
*	Generally they disengage the battery switch when running the
engine.
*	The seas are very calm and there is almost no wind.
*	They are proceeding on a heading of 070.
*	The heat exchanger was successfully patched with epoxy.
*	They have charged batteries and sufficient food and water, but
are getting tired of canned food. They may fish again today.
*	They are still headed directly to Long Beach.

 



 

Notes:

 

*         The indicated track is the rhumb line to Long Beach.

*         The wind barbs are as of this afternoon. 

*         The marks with dates reflect Hassle's actual location on that
date.

*         The computer estimate of time to Long Beach is around 10 days.

 

 

Parts required:

 

*	DK - 4 - ANL 150 fuses
*	?? - ANL 150 fuse holder
*	JM,WW - 1 - Starter motor part number is #200948 the engine is a
Westerbeke Universal B M-25XPB. (Kubota)
*	WW - 1 - Push button start switch
*	DJ - 2 - Auto float switches for the bilge pump
*	DK - 1 - Package 10-12 gauge butt connectors
*	WW - 2 - Fuel separator filters
