Thanks Steve,

I spent the winter alternating between the boat and the basement fabricating the sections and fitting, like an old house- few straight lines. The window sections have screen with roll up windows which make it nice in the mornings (warmth) and then being able to open it up later. The admiral really likes it and that makes me feel warm all over.

We've had Eagledancer for 15 yrs now and still each time we look at her we think wow what a pretty boat.

BTW the background is Mackinac Is.

This is the enclosure I made for my 38 with my handy sailrite machine.

Hi all

Larry your idea of the scotch tippy thing is great except for the obvious flaw, it would have to be refilled . I don't know about anyone else ,I do fear this would then become one of the most expensive things on my boat because of my brand preference and in Canada booze cost to much to drink. LOL

Has anyone had a full enclosure added to the cockpit ? I know I'm a wimp but this would add many more sailing days in this part of the world and maybe some more enthusiasm on the part of the long haired one for overnight trips.  So if you have , how did it work out ? what would you do different?

If I do it may make material for an artical for the Mainsheet so I will take pictures through out the process. I found a Canvas guy who owns his own boat so he understands functionality and good looks.
