Steven,
     I think this should be an association event run by a committee. I 
think the Assn should advance a small budget to help with the expenses  
for the organizing committee. The committee can estimate how much they 
will need at an early meeting. The assn should at least double that 
amount for planning. (It takes longer and it costs more - the 2 
constants of these kinds of things. )Count me in for planning help. Joe 
Launie/Macavity      by the way, Macavity's mast is down. She is getting 
new VHF antenna and low loss co-ax, new Garmin wind indicator, new 
standing rigging and new non-coated life lines. Same old skipper.
