[C38] bow sprits

With the recent discussion on bow sprits, it started my alleged mind
working. My wife usually gets scared when this happens........I have been
giving a lot of thought to making brackets that would allow me to use the
spin. pole as a sprit. It is certainly large enough to handle the loads, and
has already claimed a spot on the already limited space on the deck. I would
love to hear the opinions of others....pro and con.
