It's not cheap..several dollars a foot ( I think) for each side.  It will do the trick!

I have seen several boats, including my own,  using the heavy duty 'Dual Lock' vel-cro from 3M.  Nothing moves with this stuff.   Really strong!!!

Looking for an easy, flexible way to fasten a laptop to the nav station so
it doesn't go flying.  I have used bungee cords in the past but that
necessitates leaving the lid open and really don't want to do that.  Any
suggestions from the Masters out there???
