Steve: Am not sure where your panel is, but after having serious short out problems, if you cover the existing unit with a lexon piece made with  teak holders it will work fine

  Im in the process of desinging how I am going to seal my engine control panel and move the start buttons.  In the process I remembered the blower switch.  I never use the blower and obviously diesel fumes do not have the same concerns as gas fumes.  Is there any reason to keep the blower?  Thanks.
