[C38] stuffing box

I usually tighten the front hut until there is no water at all coming
inside the boat. Then, when motoring I check that I have at least a couple
of drops per minute and then, again, it stops completely when in neutral
and not rotating. I use three strands of 3/16 packing.

If you want to know how much drips are enough, you just touch the stuffing
box while moving. If it is hot, then let it drip a little bit more....

Right now, the new PSS dripless packing for Estancia is on its way, so
that's one more less job to deal with on the engine room!!!!
If someone is interested in one of this or any other R&D product,
www.pyiinc.com is giving the FL boat show discount, so I got a really good
price and also bought the flexible coupling for Estancia and a set of
engine mounts for a friend..

Regards,

Max
