[C38] Wrapping boat for winter storage on hard - Tyvek? Canvas?Plastic tarp?

Here in SE Alaska, many people, including us, use reinforced visqueen over a
frame of electrical conduit (NOT pvc water pipe, which gets brittle). We use
a forward section and an aft section and fit it together overlapping at the
shrouds and joined there using Tyvek tape, which is fantastic stuff. I put a
couple of braces under the frame at strategic spots because we can get as
much as 18inches of wet, heavy snow at a time. It¹s not a simple system.
Takes the better part of a weekend to get it all put together, but it¹s dry
and light inside with plenty of headroom for working on projects during the
winter and early spring.
