Fellows,

Thought you all might be interested to know that our re-engineered Tiki 38
plans are currently under review at the USCG Marine Safety Center in
Washington DC.

Our engineer was able to incorporate the scantling upgrades without
changing the boat's exterior lines or interior layout. The sailplan makes
muster too. When completed Mon Tiki will be the first ever, keel up, USCG
inspected passenger vessel James Wharram design ever.

It will also be The Montauk Catamaran Company's Hull #1.

Our adventures on Intemperance came to an abrupt and sad end, but we got
more out of her (and this list) than I ever would have hoped for. Mon Tiki
is the next step, and so far, everything is falling into place.

We'll be building in a barn in Bridgehampton NY. Of course you're all
welcome to stop by. And with a Certificate of Inspection of 30 passengers,
we'll always have a place for you if you want to come along for a sail.
