[C38] Pre-Spring Project Suggestion...

Hey All...

Here on the east coast, boredom is starting to turn into unbearable
anticipation of the coming spring... and along the same lines as the
recently suggested reading list / book suggestions -- to keep our
minds on boating etc -- I thought I'd share my pre-season
"get-stoked-project"...

I just started a blog for Momentous: http://c38momentous.blogspot.com/

I plan on using it as a way to keep a better ship's log for 2012, and
of course share my experiences / adventures with family and friends
who aren't near by to experience them with me.

BUT... I'm sharing it with the list because I was amazed how easy it
was to create. I am a web designer / art director by trade BUT, the
last thing I like to do with my time off is design websites... so I
was looking for a FREE and EASY way to start a good looking blog...
and I found it: Blogspot.

If anyone out there was considering starting a blog to log an upcoming
cruise, or major project, or just to keep the extended family
in-the-know, perhaps this is something you'd be interested in.

If you have a gmail account, BOOM you're up and running. Seriously
it's that easy. Just log into gmail, go to products, click the orange
icon that says Blogger and you're on your way. You can link it to your
facebook / flikr / picassa / youtube account to automatically display
photos / videos anything you need. Customizable templates to choose
from. The whole project (minus the little bit of writing and image
gathering) took me about 2 hours.
