[C38] woodwork

Living aboard a C-38 can be challenging at times . I am thinking of removing the woodwork in front of the wet locker and replacing it with a full standing hanging locker ,larger drawers on the bottom more room to hang things above . This would have a flat spot under the opening port and make for a slightly narrow companionway as you go to the V-birth . This mod would take away from the openness of the salon but give me the closet space I need so my clothes are not hanging from the handhold . 
  Thoughts ?
