[C38] Cabin top winch

Kerry,
When you get ready to change the primaries, give me a shout. I can
take you thru the whole process. The first thing you need is to call
Craig Blazer at Harken. He is the electric winch guru and very helpful.
Next, being in the bay area you need to talk to Scott Eason. You might
want to look at Soozal which has 6 electric winches for racing.
With our 38s, the tricky thing is cutting out the overhead for the
winches. I can send you photos so you know where to cut. It is not easy
to figure. When you are going for the electric winch, get the right
switch. It is the middle priced one which has a guard. My crew can lean
up against the winch button all day and it does not affect it.

Some one raced with me the other day and was aboard for the first
time. After 3 tacks he called the electric winches decadent. Joe
