[C38] Heel

I did a series of overnight races on an Ericson 32 which was
very tender. We had a lot of head sails - 170, 162 - 150 135 - I was
foredeck and we did lots of sail changes going to weather. We would
change sails based on how many tippys we had on the guage - too many
tippys and we were on our ear. Our only other instruments were a compass
and an RDF which did not work. We won a lot. Joe
