[C38] Need a tiler

For spin poles with mast donkey dicks: Several boats I have seen mounted a 'donkey dick' on the transom and plugged the inboard end of the spin pole to it.
Add a weight to the outboard end, guys to both sides, led to the primary winches.
Passed TransPac safety requirements.

A large canvas bucket with a couple of lines on it works well too, take the
lines to your secondary winches and you steer away.

We have the spinnaker pole set up for an emergency tiller, we put a pipe
clamp around it that has a pin welded to it, the pin fits into and secures
to a fitting on the stern,

You can build one pretty quickly. I did. I'll snap a few pics of it and send
it round. But, dang, I hope I never have to use it in a stiff breeze!
