[C38] Saturday and Sunday

My apologies to the race committee and four hearty C38s of the race fleet. Family and crew exigencies eliminated the possibilities of our participation.  We found a free day on Sunday to join the chaos around the ACWS race course, very exciting and no crashes to our knowledge. Show Girl, a C38 out of Brickyard Cove, was looking good among the spectator fleet. We saw no other C38s and were disappointed not to see any C38s in the official race youtube.

We were all winners.  It was a great day.  To see four Cataina 38s running the race course back and fourth across the bay, never being more than 200 feet from one another.   It was a perfect day.  The only thing which could have made it better was if Hassle and Discrete Charm were able to make it.   I'll let Charles give you the results.

The 2012 Catalina 38 Nationals were held yesterday in SF Bay!  We had four 
boats participating and joined the flotilla after our race to watch the 
Americas Cup.  We will talk more about what an amazing day we had and the 
results.  We believe there were at least six C38s in the flotilla watching 
the race.  We were maybe 100-200 yards from the racers at times!
