[C38] dehumidifier

I bought one from Sears, it's rather large and a bit heavy BUT it does a
great job. I plumbed it to drain into the bilge, I put mine right by the
head door with the head door open, closet doors open etc. I didn't realize
how much water we get inside the boat from the humidity until the 2011 Trans
Pac and Steve Smolinski came down from the Seattle area to do the race. One
of my crew members picked one up for Steve and I was amazed at how much
water came out. I think they are well worth the bucks.

Subject: [C38] dehumidifier

I am looking at getting a dehumidifier for the boat. Any suggestions on what
size to get and where to locate it on board? Olympia, Wa. gets pretty damp
and wet in the winter.
