[C38] Masthead Halyard Sheaves

I switched out my main halyard last year and the line halyard works just fine with the existing sheaves made for the wire halyard.  My boat is a 1982 "Merriconeag".  Rich Grassia

I'm switching to rope halyards from the wire/rope ones I have right now. For 
anyone out there who has already done this…did you have to switch out the 
sheaves at the masthead? Or are the original sheaves rope compatible?
