Glad it worked out, what are you doing with the smart pack sensor? I didn’t think the two technologies were compatible.

I contacted second wave. Then purchased what I believe to be your old/new wind instrument after I spoke with Signet regarding using the Smart Pack wind sensors with the round instrument head. I then ordered the SL 254 wind direction/speed round instrument head. All told, $500, which is 1/3 the price. Thank you for letting me know about Second Wave, what a great place. I just wish they would put more photos on their site.
Hope you can make it to the SF bay this year for the race. We have crew openings.

Kerry, I originally had a depth and speed with the boat, and later added wind, all three were put on consignment at second wave. I had the depth and speed serviced, they did a nice job on both.

Which ones did you have serviced? And did you replace them anyway? I looked on Second Wave and will be calling them tomorrow.

Kerry: Call Signet and talk to their tech people (http://www.signetmarine.com/). They fixed mine for much less than replacement. They also installed new faces such that the instruments look new. Still going 6 years after the repairs and 33 years after the install.

Has anyone replaced their operational Signet instruments with newer items and need to find good home for their old round units? I was thinking about replacing my broken Signet instruments with new ones, but decided I check with the list first.
