I bought a compact refrigerator from Fry's.
Can't remember cost but probably <$200.
This is not a marine refrigerator.
I took out oven....who bakes on a sailboat? ....and put it there

I used the Norcold kit. Was very easy and straightforward to install. Can run off shore power or battery. Although not rated as an icemaker, will make ice if ice cube trays placed next to the cold plate. I recall it was very inexpensive. I think I got it from Defender.com.
Good luck.
