Hello

Without knowing what kind of inverter you have and how it's wired it's hard
to know.

I have an inverter too. It has its own sockets and they are not connected
to the 110V sockets that came with the boat. Those only have power when the
boat is connected to shore power.

The inverter I got is an off the shelf unit which I wired directly to the
battery (with a fuse and switch of course). It only has two sockets and I
only use it for mobile phone and handheld radio charging.

Again, without a circuit diagram and/or brand and model number of inverter
I'm sorry I cannot be of much help.

Regards
