[C38] mounting blocks, huge unnecessary force

David. I removed the foot blocks and now use Garhauer unibody blocks on
the aluminum rail placed at about the position of aft end of the big
house window to lead the jib sheet to the big winch. A huge force on
those 360 footblocks removed, they leaked. The bolts were actually bent
when I removed them, plugged the holes. Gave my foot blocks to Max Soto.
Sorry not to have a pic. Will get one soon.

The sheet would come from the deck mounted adjustable block we all have, through this one and back to the winch. With a 155 headsail, I'm concerned about the fiberglass in this area being able to withstand the force under a full load. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
