[C38] HIN location

Thanks guys. I can’t find it anywhere on the hull. What is surprising is that the USCG documentation lists it with an I at the end, the current state registration lists the number 1 at the end. I have a survey from 2013 that mentions they could not find a HIN topsides so they used what was in the USCG documentation.

 

I’ll try to talk to Catalina on Monday.

If you don't find it by Monday, Catalina should be able to give to the "code" and you can figure out the HIN.

It will be something like a 3 letter ID of Catalina, followed by the Model, and production number and year. I needed to figure it out for a previous boat I had.
