Hello Skippers and Skipperettes:


While shopping for a new foot pump for water in galley I found web site called "Defender."


List price for Whale pump mk III is $139.  Defender's price is $99 but on sale for $87.  


I live in California where sales tax is 9%.  Defender does not charge sales tax unless you live in Connecticut.


Am I going down the road to unlimited repairs?  I hope/think not but this year I replaced leaking fuel tank and leaking holding tank.  What experience have you all had with replacing worn out fixtures?
