[C38] Propane tank location

Max, I mounted my 10 lb tank on the stern rail also.  I couldn't find a
location that was below the seat height and was high enough for the bottom
of the compartment to "drain" out above the water line.  The only place I
have seen that it would work was on centerline behind the wheel with a
modified (raised) lid to the aft seat behind the wheel.  I think there was
a C38 on Puget Sound that came up with this solution.
