[C38] three blade fixed propeller

I have the original 5424 and with the 15dx13p 2 blade I could do 7+ knots at
2100 rpm. The engine would do 2800 rpm in neutral only, a classic sign of
being over propped. I installed a Martec 2 blade folding 16dx12p. I now am
at 2200 rpm at 7+knots, still seem over propped but sails faster and no
spinning shaft/transmission. Prop walk is a little less which suprised me as
I had heard folding props worked poorly in reverse. I think Defender has the
best prices for props and Martec will help you prior to ordering. To get rid
of prop walk do not leave the boat in reverse especially at idle. To back
out of my slip I put it in reverse give it about 2 or 3 seconds of half
throttle the back into neutral and the boat is backing with zero prop walk
and easily controlled
