[C38] jib sheet wench

Port or starboard? The starboard one has an access panel right underneath
it above the quarterberth, the port one can be reached through the cockpit
locker. Shouldn't be a problem.
BTW, if I tried to clean MY wench, I definitely wouldn't do it out in the
open, she probably wouldn't appreciate being stared at by strangers. On the
other hand, I can clean my winches just about anywhere, just make sure I
don't drop any parts into the water. ;-)
Sincerely,

Subject: [C38] jib sheet wench
I tried to clean my jib sheet wench... Lewmar 38....and in process detached
one of the bolts that hold it to hull...I heard a "thunk" noise....the nut
on the other end of bolt had fallen into never never land.....does anyone
know how to access the underside of that cockpit wench so I can put the bolt
back on...I can just about reach it through the lazerrete but no cigar.
