[C38] has anyone changed the stern seat?

This is what not what you asked for but it is about seat modification in 
the back of the C-38.  I had the stern pulpit modified last year and it 
really improves the 'flow' of the cockpit when you are running with 
additional people.

Due to some posts here I did not use the black sealing tape because I 
was concerned in the heat of an SF day it might start to ooze and that 
stuff is a real mess.  I used black silicon adhesive.  So far no leaks 
and it looks good.

Please send pictures on anyone that has elevated the skippers seat 5 or 
so inches.  This remains a big issue for all of us.
