The Goose is floored in bamboo throughout. I think it my have been treated with some sort of wax or oil as it seems very resistant to staining and water penetration. I've attached two pics. If they don't appear on the list perhaps the webmaster could display them on the web site.
I am thinking of removing the wood from the galley area floor as the prson that fitted it made the planks too tight so two of them have buckled slightly in that area.

Jeff: The teak sole in my boat is in the companion way area and extends only to the step down next to ther galley, beyond that it is carpet. it is a four or 5 piece of teak faced plywood which can be cut from one 4 by 8 sheet. My boat is in the BVI but if you need deminsions I have my old pieces as I replaced this area in 2000. Let me know. dickkilroy at verizon.net
