[C38] climbing mast

How do I do it on my own?  Will a block and tackle work?  I am 63  years
young and weigh 200 pounds.  My jib halyard is stuck and I'd rather not hire
a rigger.  Thought I'd hook a block and tackle to main halyard, pull it back
up, jump in bosun chair and pull myself up.  4 to 1 ratio.  I assume it
would work.  Have I lost all of my marbles?

How do you guys do it?  I know a "helper" is the "answer" but sometimes they
aren't around.
