I would love to do the transpac as well in a few years and would be very
interested in what you have done to Hassle in order to prepare.

Kerry, you are always welcome on Hassle, we are in Long Beach at
Shoreline and members of Shoreline Yacht Club. We'll be a little busy
preparing for the 2009 Trans Pac race and of course any advice from a
fellow sailor would be appreciated.

Best regards,

I bought my boat in San Diego and she had always been there until I
bought her. It would be like taking her home, but its too far from Los
Angeles for a (part time) live aboard.

How long is the waiting list for you? People and time?

Hi guys,
Garhauer does has the reefing block that I need to replace the pair on
the
boom, but before I buy it, I was thinking to buy at the same time the
blocks
for my spinnaker pole car system.
I already have a track on the mast front with a merrimas "ring car"(it?s
the
original car). My question is what kind of arrangement are you using??
How
many of blocks and what kind do you have??. Should I use a double cheek
block on each side of the track(top and bottom) and a single block with
becket on each side of the car, or just a single block on each side and
the
line attached to the timble or shackle on each side of the car??
Regards,
