[C38] Insurance

Gus,

My friend ran into a poblem with Allstate. Allstate will not issue an "additionally insured endorsement" for the marina where he keeps his boat. Before they issued the policy they said they would but they will only list the marina as an "interested party."  On your policy is your Marina listed as "addtionally insured"?

  I've used Allstate for years and am happy with them but have never had need to file a claim.

Alstate is getting into the sail boat insurance business. Limits of navigation cover all US waters including Alaska and Hawaii. Less than $300 per year. I wouldn't even consider US Boat. Besides charging higher premiums they act like they are doing you a big favor.
