[C38] What about insurance

Just got the newest issue of Practical Sailor (with a discussion about
insurance costs). Also in today's mail was my Insurance declaration
page for this year's boat insurance.
Frankly, insurance for the Mighty Quinn has been a pain over the few
years I have had the boat. I started with Boat US, who required a survey
(fortunately, I had just gotten one during the purchase dance). They
dropped me two years later (I have never submitted a claim on any boat I
have owned) saying they don't insure boats over 20 years of age....
I then shopped and shopped and shopped.... coming up with $1000+
premiums for the few who would even agree to insure an older boat! I
finally found Progressive Direct, who agreed to insure if I had yet
another survey.
I have been with them for three years and the premium has stayed about
the same. Can't say how they will handle a claim, but here is what my
policy looks like:

1981 Catalina 38
Liability to others that includes fuel spill liability: ($300,000 is
combined single limit for
         each accident).
Uninsured Boater $300,000
Medical payments: $1000 each person
Comprehensive: Agreed value of $42,000 with $750 deductible
Collision: Agreed value of $42,000 with $750 deductible
Includes wreckage removal.
This policy is for a coastal limitation of 50 miles in territorial
waters for the U.S. and Canada.
12 month policy cost: $440

How does this stack up? Is there a company out there that understands
our boats?
