How to repair Lewmar 48 (or is it 38)?I have a Lewmar 48   two speeds....went to West Marine and for about $23 got a Lewmar kit with full details on how to take it apart...kit included light oil and grease...good luck

  The gear shift button on one of the three speed winches for my jib sheets on my '81 has stuck in the down/high speed position.  Has anyone had this happen and if so, how easy was it to fix?  Thanks.
