Hello John
I just purchased a PSS shaft seal from Defender, good price. I called
the company that manufactures this unit. My stern tube is 1 and 5/8 inches.
PYI the manufacturer told me to order a 1 1/2 PSS and I would get an
adaptor with my shaft seal, that would make the unit fit my stern tube. My
propeller shaft is 1". Give PYI a call, they were very helpfull to me, Tel
# 1-800-523-7558.
