[C38] radar

I'd just say that my opinion of the Raymarine radar is pretty low. I installed one on a friends boat. I don't thing it's made to stand up to the saltwater environment. (Background: I'm an electronics engineer.)

He sailed the boat from Hawaii to Seattle and had several problems with the unit (not installation related, fortunately!). Raymarine wasn't very helpful. He ended up replacing it with a Furuno which has been great. I also have a Furuno on Legacy. It's an older unit and has been terrific.

I have the radar screen below on legacy. The previous owner built up the bulkhead at the forward end of the chart table for instruments. He added a beautiful wood box to cover the backs of the instruments.

Having a radar screen at the helm would be nice. There have been two situations where it would have really helped.
